Since we returned to school after the Easter holidays the children have completed lots of great work around our SESE theme of the month of Space. Everyone (including Ms. Fitzgerald) learned lots of new information about Space and I’m sure they will surprise you with their knowledge. We also spent time on the measures topic in Maths with lots of work done on Time and Money - 1st and 2nd class even set up a shop in the classroom for everyone to practise using coins. We also spent some time planting cress and sunflower seeds which we hope will continue to grow on our windowsill and eventually make it out to the school garden.
