Senior Room - Engineering Week
Our pupils in the senior room paired together for engineering week to design a structure that would could possibly withstand an earthquake. There were lots of interesting drawings and designed and we are very impressed with the finished structures.
Well done everyone!
Engineering Week
Our pupils from the Senior room took advantage of the gorgeas sun on Friday to experiment with solar energy. In pairs, the pupils used windmills and motors powered by mini solar panels to make colourful designs. Everyone really enjoyed experimenting with colours and different areas of the school grounds to get the most of the afternoon sunlight. This was part of engineering week. Well done everyone!
Budding Engineers in the Senior Room
Our activities in the Senior Room during Engineering Week were great fun. First we had a workshop with All 4 Science in which the pupils made robotic hands. Then the pupils were given an engineering task which showed the talents and resilience of all pupils. The team spirit shown was amazing and everyone worked together to help each other until the projects were finished. Great fun was had ….have a look below at the amazing things they made. We have sky wheels, cars, mechanical fish, elevators, vacuum cleaners, bubble machine, lamp and even a Googly eyed gecko!!!!. Thanks to all the Mums and Dads who provided some equipment and helped out over the weekend with the tricky bits!!!
